Greater Heights Community Events is a community focused social venture dedicated to improving mental wellbeing, strengthening identity and reducing social isolation within underserved communities
THE FOUNDER
Greater Heights was founded by Allison, a qualified Social Worker with over 27 years of professional experience in health and social care, alongside more than a decade of hands on community work. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with individuals and families facing complex challenges, including mental health difficulties, isolation and lack of opportunity. Her experience spans supporting vulnerable individuals, lone parents and people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Overtime, she has recognised that while traditional services provide important support, they do not always address deeper issues around identity, belonging, confidence and purpose.This insight became the foundation for Greater Heights
